Spark up the grill, We have a new Meat Case!
When our butcher shop case stopped working last August, we opted to order a brand-new one instead of repairing it. Even though we understood that it would take longer than we wanted, it was the oldest case in our store, so we believed it was worth the wait. Everyone has been negatively impacted by the supply chain challenges of the last few years and of course, Cordelia’s was no exception!
While we never imagined we’d have to wait almost a year to install it, having the extra time wound up being really valuable! It gave us the opportunity to collect feedback from so many of you and gain an even better understanding of what you are looking for in your local butcher shop.
In addition to learning which of our current products our neighbors already LOVE, we had time to source the meat and seafood options you asked for. We even gained a better idea of the flavors you like best on your marinated cuts! That feedback helped us develop a more finely curated selection of hormone-free poultry, certified Angus beef, local pork, and fresh seafood, along with the same quality and service that you expect from our skilled butchers. Ronnie and Robert make good use of their veteran butcher experience by providing a fresh selection of in-house cut beef and pork as well as freshly grinding the most delicious beef in town every single day!
“I’m so grateful for the extra space we have now.” Says Robert the Meat Department Manager and Butcher. ”I know it took a while, but hopefully, we made the best use of the time. We have been able to bring in so many new items with the new space we have. From Home Place Pastures, we now have local steaks, breakfast and grilling sausages, grass-fed ground beef, and pasture-raised ground pork. We also have a new line of fresh, responsibly raised chicken from Bell and Evans, which I think is as good a product as you can buy. We added grilling items, easy dinner items, breakfast items, new sides, new breakfast options, and new fresh cuts like Porterhouse and London Broil. We love showing everyone around our revamped department!”
